RivierPark Maasvallei is a colourful and fragrant herb paradise. The Meuse regularly overflows its banks and this allows herbs to flourish in this region. When the river recedes again, it leaves behind a nutritious layer of silt which forms the perfect conditions for the growth of a large variety of herbs. A local herbalist used these herbs to create a unique blend of typical flavours that represent the Meuse Valley.
The tasty herbal mix of sea salt, pepper, bay leaves, and local herbs such as thyme, sage, and wild marjoram lift your everyday dishes to a whole new level. It is also a flavourful replacement for normal salt. It adds that little extra to your meal!
