Developments in RivierPark Maasvallei
You will notice that large-scale developments are taking place at several locations in the Meuse Valley.
nv De Scheepvaart and Consortium Grensmaas BV are constructing the banks and dikes along the Meuse to protect the surrounding villages and lands against flooding. During construction, attention to nature remains the top priority and extra effort is made to create an area that is as natural as possible. A varied terrain and secondary channels are not only necessary for water safety, but also have a positive effect on the natural environment.
During construction, certain walking routes might be closed off. We always make an effort to keep inconvenience to a minimum and to keep visitors informed.
