Win a boat trip!
If you buy a ticket to cross on one of the three bicycle and foot-passenger ferries of the RivierPark Maasvallei, you have a chance of winning a fun boat trip. All new tickets, both one-way and 10-ride passes, will have a unique code. With this code, you can win a fun boat trip on the Meuse every month, starting at Rederij Stiphout in Maastricht, courtesy of Fransbergen Recreatie & Toerisme BV. So hold on to your tickets!
At the end of each month, the winner will be announced by drawing lots. Check your code on www.rondjemethetpontje.nl or on the facebook website of RivierPark Maasvallei.
Important! Ferry 10-ride passes
Only the 10-ride passes of the RivierPark Maasvallei of 2019-2022 are valid as transfer tickets. A 10-ride pass is valid on all three cyclist and foot-passenger ferries.
Cycling route network
Thanks to the extensive cycling route network in Belgium and the Netherlands, you can create your own cycling route using junctions that are indicated in both directions. This way, you can decide which direction you want to go and how long your ride will be. The cycle route networks connect seamlessly with each other. The systems are identical in the Netherlands and Belgium, only the colour of the signs is different. In Belgium, you follow the blue signs, while in the Netherlands, the signs are green.
With the handy cycling map 'RivierPark Maasvallei, cycling in the heart of both Limburg provinces, you can easily create your own cycling route. This makes cycling in the Maasvallei even more relaxing!
Attention
The Meuse is an erratic, rain-fed river which causes the river’s water levels to swell and shrink regularly. At both high and low water (drought) the ferries may not be able to sail. While this may disrupt your bike ride temporarily, there are fantastic natural phenomena to watch in the RivierPark. We try to keep you up-to-date of the latest our Facebook page RivierPark Maasvallei as much as we can.
